Larissa Issa
Podiatry Assistant
Larissa has joined our team as a Podiatry Assistant and is currently completing her fourth year of Podiatry at La Trobe University. She has a strong interest in dermatological foot health and enjoys assisting patients with foot care in a clinical setting.
Through her studies and practical exposure Larissa has developed a deep understanding of common skin and nail presentations and the importance of maintaining healthy feet through regular care, education and prevention. She enjoys working closely with the Podiatrists to support patient care and ensure a positive clinic experience.
Larissa also has an interest in musculoskeletal podiatry, particularly in understanding how footwear, activity and movement influence overall foot comfort and function. With a lifelong sporting background in soccer and tennis from the age of four, Larissa values the role of physical activity and staying active across all stages of life.
In addition she brings strong footwear knowledge, having worked at The Athlete’s Foot for two years. This experience has given her valuable insight into footwear fitting and selection, allowing her to assist patients in understanding how appropriate footwear can support comfort and everyday foot health.
Outside of the clinic, Larissa enjoys fitness and discovering new foods.
